Hi Lazze. First, you do incredible work! Enjoy watching your videos. I am on the east coast in Georgia, and doubt I will ever get out to attend any of your classes but would love to. I have a question. I want to build a custom, 1934 three window from scratch. Are there any plans, drawings, dimensions, etc. out there anywhere??? Other than buying an original body (expensive), or purchasing a fiberglass body, I need dimensions, contours, etc. to make by bucks/forms. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks. Cyrus

Took his class a while back and it was great. His calm demeanor helps with the frustration that you have when you think the metal is supposed to go somewhere and it doesn’t. To watch him come and take you piece and take mere minutes to correct it while teaching you was so memorable. Great teacher, great personality, and an unlimited wealth of knowledge.

A “Z” shape with one 90* curved could be the bottom of a rocker panel with the hard 90 being the pinch weld flange.

one tip for deep shrinker/strecher on point in 10min mark : I use shim/washers under the dies so I can turn them 90 degree. So I can work from side if panel is too long. (may need little mod to machine, lower the back edge of the die pocket.)

Like to see how you weld it also people say that Tig weld is better ( softer ) for sheet metal but how is that possible if you use the same filler rod used for mig weld

Less heat input mostly, minimal to no cleanup too if done right. I've got a video on my channel about how to weld sheet metal that demonstrates what I've learned over the years if you're interested, I'm not trying to take anything away from lazze though, he's better than me. I learned a lot from him.

I appreciate your time explaining, however when you came to the part (11:40) about 3/4-inch strips on the outside of the ally panels it was unclear to me what your plan was for those. it sounds like they'll be templates for the outside shape of the body, since they'll be marginally larger than the wire buck sections?

I kind of got a chuckle when you were describing how you cut the inner framing of the passenger door in order to hammer and dolly the skin when you welded that on. When you take the time to make the welded sections of the inner framing back together you had to jog your memory in order to show where you welded the frame back together. In other words, you were so particular to make your welds disappear that you could not see where they were and had to resort to your memory where you welded. Now that's craftsmanship.🥸👍👍👍👍👍
